We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Paul Chapman has signed with us for his delightful children’s picture book, Spinach visits the Natural History Museum!
Paul Chapman is a qualified Architect who lives in South West London. He has two adult children. He has always enjoyed drawing pictures and writing stories. He wrote his first story about Spinach the Green Dog soon after he was given the dog, a cuddly toy in 1975, while qualifying to become an architect at Sheffield University. He spent many years working as an architect and rose to position of Architect Director at BDP, then Britain’s largest firms of architects where he led design teams on major shopping centres around the UK and throughout the world, including several competition and award winning projects. It is perhaps his interest in architecture that has inspired the creativity of his illustrations and interest in travel and photography. In recent years he has focussed more on writing and illustrating children’s stories. He has so far self-published seven stories about Spinach the Green Dog, as well as a children’s novel, other short stories and poetry, two of which have been published in anthologies.
Spinach visits the Natural History Museum is a charming and vibrant picture book, perfect for ages 4-6! Spinach is not an ordinary dog, mostly because he is green and has a tartan nose. Spinach loves to explore new places and embark on exciting adventures. Get ready to join Spinach on his very first adventure in London – coming late 2025!
