Jess Welch has signed with us for her gripping debut dystopian fiction The Hero’s Friend which poses the question “what do the side characters think about the heroes that keep destroying their cities?”.
Welch holds a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and a master’s in International Relations. She loves to travel and experience different cultures and is always inspired when learning about the human experience through the eyes of others. Her writing itself tends to seep into the darker corners of reality, exploring the resilience and power of the human spirit through life’s toughest trials.
Perfect for fans of Amazon Prime’s The Boys series and Brandon Sanderson’s Steelheart, The Hero’s Friend is due to be published in early 2027.
