We are pleased to announce that Francesca Nicolaides has signed with us for her speculative science fiction novel The Animators Code about an AI who shouldn’t be able to feel… but does. Corporate AI Jupiter forms an unexpected emotional attachment to human Jessica, but when she uncovers a buried experiment, Jupiter’s care for her becomes rebellion, and the system begins to fracture.
Nicolaides is a UK-based debut author whose writing explores technology, identity, and the unseen systems shaping modern life. Born in Barnet, London, she has always been drawn to storytelling, whether on stage through musical theatre or on the page through immersive, emotionally driven fiction.
The Animator’s Code is due to be published in October 2026.
