We are thrilled to announce that Jade Ford has signed with us for her YA dystopian fantasy debut, Nature’s Tributes!
Jade Ford has an undergraduate degree in Zoology and a MSc in Genomic Medicine and sees magic in the beauty of nature. For years she dreamed of combining her fascination with Science and her love for the mystical, leading to her debut fantasy novel Nature’s Tributes, a quirky combination of fey, magic, and the repercussions of upsetting Nature! A proud book dragon, she can be bribed away from her hoard of books with offerings of cups of tea and biscuits (although she’d really prefer to have them alongside).
What would happen if Nature was personified and could make humans pay for not taking care of the environment by forcing them to compete in a set of challenges? Nature’s Tributes follows Rosalind’s dangerous entry into the fey world as she competes alongside other human contestants in Nature’s trials to prove that her species is worth saving.
