Ella is a self-proclaimed fantasy nerd whose special talents include being able to tell you within three seconds what song is playing from the Lord of The Rings score and what scene you would find it. Aside from that, she is also severely dyslexic, and a GODA (grandchild of Deaf adults). Ella strives to write worlds inclusive of all neurodivergences and other marginalized communities, proving that we all deserve a chance to ride dragons and find our immortal selves!
In a world where Wild Magic is sentient and feared, Kenna spends her life trying to avoid it. However, it seems that Wild Magic has different ideas. When a fated run in with the mysterious Adohn sets her destiny into action, Kenna finds she might lose her heart as well as her mind. Which is a shame, seeing as Kenna has a history of happily never afters.
A Flame So Gold follows a neurodivergent main character and a deaf love interest in world of sentient magic, lost goddess, and an imbalance in the world. It tackles different themes such as love, loss, grief, and mental illness while still exploring the world of fantasy with sentiment magic, lost goddesses, dragons, and a shadow daddy that may or may not be trustworthy!
