After being pushed into a portal, Mikey finds himself in Whimsburrow, home of the Whimstricks. As he enters this magical realm, the portal deactivates, leaving Mikey stuck in a surreal world. In order to get back home, he must reactivate the portal with a herling stone only the Thorne Kingdom holds.
