As a UK publisher, we are predominantly looking for submissions from UK authors, though we do also accept submissions from the Republic of Ireland and the USA.
We are currently accepting submissions for adult, young adult and middle-grade titles. We are not currently accepting children’s picture books.
We are looking for completed adult and young adult manuscripts that range in length from 50,000 words to 100,000 words maximum, and middle-grade manuscripts that range in length from 20,000 to 40,000 words.
To submit, please complete the online form below, including the following documents as Microsoft Word or PDF files, in size 11-12 Calibri, Times New Roman or another legible font:
- A sample of your manuscript (maximum 10,000 words)
- A synopsis (approx 500 words) detailing a summary of your manuscript, including key plot points, character arcs and the ending (this is not an elevator pitch, and should include spoilers!)
- A covering letter telling us a little about yourself, why you chose to write your book, what makes your book stand out and why you think we would be a good fit as a publisher.
Please note: we do not accept hard copy submissions by post.
We endeavour to provide feedback for every submission we receive within six working weeks.
